Pieces of entertainment you would love to see

Post by Prak »

It's been said, several times, that there should be a Nick Fury Comic all about him hitting people with his belt while calling them dipshits.

I would also love, as Rowling has said there are more books she could write in the Potter-verse, to see a book that is just about a young Dumbledore running out on some quest kicking ass and taking names.

Cuz apparently I gotta break this down for you dense motherfuckers- I'm trans feminine nonbinary. My pronouns are they/them.

You know what would be stupidly awesome? If someone ambitious expanded Steamshovel Harry into an actual game. Autotuned vocals in every level. I still want to want to use the premise of the SH plot in some kind of semi-serious RPG scenario at some point.

I'd like to see a 4th Bourne movie that actually has Matt Damon as Jason Bourne in it, rather than what they're currently planning on making.

The Bourne Legacy, AKA Bourne without Bourne.

Basically, Damon said he wouldn't do it if Paul Greengrass wasn't involved. So, since Paul isn't involved, neither is Damon. My understanding is the book off which this is based does have Jason Bourne in it, so they're literally redoing the plot just to make another movie with the name "Bourne" on it.

And I was really looking forward to it when I heard about it a year ago, too.

I'd like to see King of the Hill un-canceled and back on the air. I can't believe that Fox canceled it to make room for The Cleveland Show.
In this moment, I am Ur-phoric. Not because of any phony god’s blessing. But because, I am enlightened by my int score.

I didn't realize it got canceled in favour of the Cleveland Show.

Ugh. ...as much as I disliked King of the Hill, I'd much rather watch occasionally amusing red necks than the displayed abortion of comedy that is the Cleveland Show....

Both are epic, just in different ways.

I've never even seen the Cleaveland show. I stopped watching new Family Guy episodes a year or two before it came out. I still love their older stuff, but that's what DVDs are for. :uptosomething:

really the only three "legit"' Bourne properties are "bourne Identity", "Bourne Supremacy", and "Bourne ultimatum." These were the original three Ludlum books. Granted aside from the name Bourne and a vague loss of identity hook, none of the Bourne movies are actually like the books at all.

"Bourne Legacy" and all these other books mostly came out after Ludlum's death and really are shit. Ludlum had this amazing quality toinfuse international conspiracy and suspense into his book that not many people can do. "John Le Carre" or Lois Mcmaster Bujold are able to do it. Bujold does it more in the sense of Space opera/politics. Look at the vorksogian saga for this.
